West Kilbride road closed over three weeks

The B781 road between West Kilbride and Dalry will be closed over three weeks to allow for improvement works next month.

The road will shut from 12.01am on Monday, August 6 until 11.59pm on Friday, August 24 to allow road resurfacing to take place between the Ballees Farm and Stairlie Woods.

Diversions will be via the B780 to the A78 roundabout at Ardrossan, then north on the A78 to West Kilbride and vice versa.The diversion route will be clearly signed and drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journey. Local farm access will be maintained.

The closure of these roads is required to ensure the safety of the roads workers and drivers. North Ayrshire Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
