For all of you who couldn't make the Yuletide night or get into our shops on the Yuletide night, this is your last chance to grab a fanastic bargain at either Coastal Aromas or A Gift Tae Gie.

30/7/2008West Kilbride Horticultural Society Summer Flower Show 16th August 2008
The annual Summer Flower Show will be held in the Public Hall Saturday 16th August, opening to public viewing at 2.00pm to 5.00pm. There is also an excellent tea room for those requiring refreshment at the show. Show entries can be delivered to the Public Hall 7pm - 9pm on the Friday evening or 8am - 9:30am on the Saturday morning.
This is a major village event and everyone is welcome to put in entries. This is an amateur show and all entries make a contribution to filling the Public Hall with a fine display of flowers, potted plants, baking, preserves, fruit and vegetables and wines. Do not be shy - check your house and garden for pot plants, flowers and vegetables that have done well and enter them into the show. If it looks good then put it in, there are classes for virtually everything. If you are not sure what can be put in then collect a Show Schedule from the D & B Gallery. How often have we gone to the show and commented "I've got some better than that!!" - don't get caught out this time.
Anyone prepared to help with the stewarding of the show would be very welcome as we are short of volunteers. If you are prepared to help in this way, please contact John Kerr, our Chief Steward, on 823525.
Would last years cup and trophy winners please ensure their trophies are returned so that they can be prepared for this year's show.
