I am just seeking reassurances from those who have organised the Kirktonhall questionnaire/survey. What mechanisms have you put in place to prevent multiple submissions from one person/ interest group? I keep seeing the link to it and am wondering how you are actually able to know it isn't being used over and over again by the same person. Sorry if this is a daft question, I am not particularly IT savvy. But the survey does not seem to be particulary 'democratic' if it isn't overseen in some way or other. Or perhaps it is and I am just not aware of it?

Thank you for your reply.
I disagree with your comment that this survey restricts multiple entries being made by the same individual. I have tested it and it does allow you to make multiple submissions, although I made only one.
In order to allow only one submission you would need to have authenticated each person submitting the survey which is not being done.
I also have concerns about the questions used in the survey. The proposed usage of a redeveloped Kirktonhall are very limited and focused on a specific area rather than being spread across the wide variety of uses such a building may accomodate for the local community.
My view is that we should be creating an area and space for 11+ youths and young adults, which I would be strongly in favour of and support wholeheartedly. I do not see why we need to create business / meeting space in West Kilbride, or film / sound production facilities.
Remember that news doesn't just mean crime and politics – a golden wedding, a new baby, or a personal achievement are news to any community.
