Have your say at West Kilbride power station public meeting

You can hear views and have your say at a public meeting about the proposed coal fired power station which is being held on Monday 28th June at 7.45pm in West Kilbride Village Hall.

There will be several speakers - RSPB, Dr Mandy Meikle + local residents from Largs, Fairlie & West Kilbride Additional Speakers being arranged : on energy issues and health impact of coal.

Ayrshire Power are being invited but from their comments about public meetings we think that they will probably not attend. Stalls expected from WDM scotland, RSPB, Friends of Earth Scotland, CONCH, Heal the Earth Ayrshire, Coal Action Scotland and Scots Wildlife Trust.

CONCH is preparing a sample letter of objection which members of the public can use as a basis for their objections.
