The Christmas exhibition at The Gallery showcases a mouth-watering array of quality craft and design from some of the U.K's highly regarded makers. We have the return of several featured makers as well as exhibitors showing for the first time.

Work for sale includes contemporary jewellery by first time featured makers Hayley Mardon and Helga Mogensen, both graduates of Edinburgh College of Art in 2007.
Regular jewellery contributors Laura Bradshaw-Heap, Julie Cumming and Min Fidler make a welcome return.

Stunning glassware by regular contributors Zoe Gadsby and Julie Langdon compliment the impressive ceramics created by Glasgow School of Art graduate Angela Pointon. Angela was selected to exhibit at Design Talent, Craft Scotland, Homes and Interiors Scotland Exhibition 2008, SECC Glasgow.

Textiles are represented by the silk ties made by returning featured maker Alison Bell, the luxurious digitally printed silk and velvet scarves of Offino Textiles and home accessories by first time exhibitor Astrid Wiegel from Darvel in Ayrshire. There is also a selection of fun fashion accessories that include bags, scarves and funky iPod covers from returning exhibitor Sheena Bowman. Scottish College of Textiles graduate Lorraine Linton, "INTO Textile Design", is exhibiting for the first time with the gallery. Lorraine creates individually knitted lifestyle accessories use organic embellishments grown from manipulative felting techniques.

The Gallery is pleased to feature the atmospheric landscape paintings of Rosanne Barr, a highly regarded fine artist who has exhibited with some of Scotland's most reputable galleries.
