West Kilbride Camera Club meets every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in West Kilbride Community Centre between September and April of the following year.
New members are welcome and there is a mid-evening tea break too!
The club has a studio and digital imaging suite available to members. Classes on how to learn basic camera functions are run at the community centre regularly. On Thursday the 5th of January : Projected Digital A/V Competition judged by members. Hand in for Fixed Subject Competition.
On Wednesday the 11th of January : Saltcoats Battle hosted by West Kilbride Camera Club
On Thursday the 19th of of January : Fixed Subject Competition, judge - Bob Collins.
* On Thursday the 26th of January : Speaker: Duncan McEwan on "Scotland: Around the Edges"
On Tuesday the 31st of January : Visit to Skelmorlie Camera Club
* On Thursday the 9th of February : Tuition night.
On Thursday the 16th of February : Tape/Slide (or digital equivalent) Competition, judged by members. Hand in for Annual Competition.
On Thursday the 23rd of February : View SPF Print Portfolio.
On Thursday the 1st of March : Annual P.I. and Monochrome Print Competition.
On Thursday the 8th of March : Annual Colour Print Competition, judge - Susan Montgomerie.
On Thursday the 15th of March : Select P.I. and Prints for SPF Portfolio.
* On Thursday the 22nd of March : A.G.M.
On Thursday the 29th of March : Prize Giving and Annual Dinner at West Kilbride Golf Club.
P.I. = Projected Image ; SPF = Scottish Photographic Federation
For non-members on any given evening except the prize giving an entrance fee of £2 is required.
On dates marked with a * members of the club will be available from 6:30 p.m. at the Community Centre for additional tuition.
