Katrina's Childminding Service

Hi there my name is Katrina McCorkindale.  I am a Registered Childminder by the Scottish Care Inspectorate.
I am based in West Kilbride in North Ayrshire and work from a safe and secure home environment. I am a mother of 2.
I have 9 years paid work experience working with children including children with special needs. From classroom assistant, after school care worker, nanny and childrens chaperone for Cbeebies television show Waybuloo.
I cater for children of 1 month and above who need a childminder on a full or part time basis (offering school and nursery drop off’s and pick ups in West Kilbride), as well as full time childcare within the school holidays.

I currently hold childcare certificates as well as first aid certificate, public liability insurance and am a member of the Scottish Childminding Association SCMA.

Our children (aged 4 and 1) are cared for by Katrina two days per week. We are very happy with the care provided. Katrina is friendly and relaxed whilst also being very professional and knowledgable. Our children settled very quickly and love spending time with Katrina and her two lovely children. Katrina is very responsive to their needs and their feelings. Katrina has produced an activity plan for the school holidays which we are extremely happy with. There is a variety of activities and day trips to keep our girls happy - all the things we would be doing with them if we were not working. We would highly recommend Katrina to any other parents looking for a caring and responsive child minder.
